Jake was a very special pug.  He had a brother named Elwood.  I named them Jake and Elwood at the suggestion of a dear friend of mine because the two were best buddies in the litter.  Jake grew up to be short and stocky.  Elwood grew up to be tall and thin.  Both made their championships.  Jake went to my friend Darlene who loved him as her baby.  I let Elwood go to a show home - and I will always regret it.  He loved me like no other pug.  I still miss him and named my English Bulldog,Elwood, my main man,  after him.
