Doodlebug was a little pug
Her face was so flat and wrinkled
That when she smiled
She almost crinkled.
She slept with me and she always snored.
She snored SO LOUD
The house would ROAR!
I treated her just like a kid.
She took delight in all she did.

As she grew older, I knew one day
That she would be to old to play.
And my heart would break
As I would miss
Her ever present doggie kiss.
And though my friend has passed away,
I can feel her soul today.
She didn't leave me.
